As part of this year’s World Interaction Design Day celebration, Adobe introduced its inaugural list of UX Designers to Watch. The list spotlights ten UX designers who are already pushing the profession’s boundaries, even though they are still relatively early in their careers.
A prestigious panel of widely recognized design leaders hand selected the honorees, and ensured it was more than just a portfolio or resume review. They evaluated their involvement in the vibrant global design community and their commitment to improving the human condition through UX and interaction design.
This year’s group represents the great diversity of our field and they’re sure to inspire you. For example, the list includes a designer from Google who in her spare time directs a nonprofit providing mentorship to women and non-binary UX professionals, and a design agency founder in Northern Michigan who created his own job when he couldn’t find one in the region – and now counts ESPN, Yelp and Audible among his 100+ clients.
